If I had a way to blare it from the rooftops I would, if I had a supersonic magic megaphone that would reach the nations I’d use it for this: People are definitely prone to assume I am so enthusiastic merely because the subject matter is my sister, but trust me if she weren’t so freeking amazing as a singer/songwriter I wouldn’t waste my time. Faith Gilmore’s (www.faithgilmore.com) newest album, Bold as Lions, couldn’t be more relevant and more enjoyable. The production quality is top notch and Faith’s voice has been stretched to a whole new level. I am having trouble picking a favorite track, it’s probably a tie between five different songs. Faith has somewhat created a new genre using a language in song that sings to Jerusalem in pop form. This album is a message to the nations on both a personal and global level. I find it to be nothing less than important, catchy, intimate, beautiful, deep and super professional in quality. I am convicted to say that this album encourages our spirits to be lifted and aids us in reaching truth. Do yourself a favor and check it out on itunes now. Faith Gilmore: Bold as Lions

Live Performance- Watch it here!
Hey guys, now you can watch a video of my guys (David Glickstein and Jason Arce) and I performing “Closer” at Recoup Lounge in the lower east side, September of this past year (2010). Closer was written by yours truly along with Cheryl Paswater (guitar), Mick Bouschor (piano) and Josh Brown (drums).
BV Action
Did a little BV (background vocal) action for Adam Sullivan at Googie’s Lounge (at the Living Room) last week, October 16th. Good times. Adam is always intriguing to listen to, with his Irish accent and heartfelt lyrics. Gideon Brown performed as well, beautiful! Setting up a show for December, so keep a look out. ![]()

Roam

So I hit up Rockwood Music Hall this past Sunday night, August 22nd, to go see some old friends perform in their newly formed band, Roam (which can be found here: www.facebook.com/Roamband). I have heard Jimmy (James Reeves) sing before, which is always pretty undeniably captivating, but this new ensemble is indeed something to make note of. There are 3 electric guitarists playing all at the same time, which creates an incredible euphoric experience, along with drums, in which the drummer, Joshua Brown, not only drums…but sings magical harmonies, backing up James. These rock songs aren’t your normal rock songs, they are lined with lyrics of love, longing and passion. They even switched gears at one point, from the edgy tunes, to do a folk song, in which one of the other guitarists, Paulo (I believe), revealed his amazing vocals as well. The talent in these dapper young rockstars is quite undeniable. I highly recommend you resist any silly urge not to check them out on Facebook…here: www.facebook.com/Roamband
My work here is done.
